​Joan Kang is a Visual Development Artist & Character Designer based in the Bay Area, CA.

She is currently pursuing an MFA in Visual Development at the Academy of Art University, San Francisco.

Joan's creative journey began in architecture, where she first developed her design skills. Now, she aspires to be a visual development artist who can help visualize ideas and imagination into reality and create meaningful stories that resonate with others. 

Beyond that, she hopes to create art that inspires, uplifts, and brings joy to everyone.
